Welcome to the Three Room Studio Saturday Challenge! I'm Kim Skinner and I'm your challenge host this week!
This week's challenge is to use polka dots, stripes, or plaids!
I am featuring one of the brand new stencils on my card today. This stencil is called "Rounded Checkerboard" and I am in love with it!
I actually inked it in twice. I did the first pass in red and then moved the stencil over so the solid parts of the stencil masked the red I just added. I did a second inking with black ink for this fabulous plaid effect!
Stencils are a great tool to have in your stash because there are so many ways to use them. I loved this one so much, I felt like I didn't need to add too much more to it.
I added a sentiment and some small images from the "One More Chapter" stamp set. This allowed me to let that stencil be the focal image of my card.
Make sure you check out the other stencils that were just added to the shop. Personally, I'm having trouble picking a favorite!
Leave a comment to let us know which stencil is your favorite!
