Welcome to the Three Room Studio Saturday Challenge!
I'm Meghan and I'm your challenge host this week! This week's challenge is ADD DOODLING to your project. Any how or any way! Simply add some hand drawn accents or details to your stamped masterpiece. It can be subtle or dramatic and you can use any writing implement you desire!
For my card projects I used the “Let’s Hygge” stamp set. I stamped out the mug image on a variety of light colored, heavyweight cardstock. I then doodled onto the mugs with a Sakura clear Glaze Gelly Roll pen. This created a resist. After letting the doodles dry overnight, I colored the mugs with watercolor markers. My doodles were heavily inspired from Zentangle patterns. I added the sentiment to blank white card bases and fussy cut the mugs once they were dry. Lastly, I adhered 3 mugs to each card. Some with dimensional foam of various thicknesses and some glued flat down. I did this to create interest to the clean and simple design. I love how these cards came out and I hope you do, too!
