Hello friends! Samantha here and I'll be your host for this weeks Studio Saturday challenge! The theme for this week is - Let it Snow! Now I will admit that winter isn't exactly my favorite season but I can at least appreciate the beauty of snow so how many ways can we interpret it in card form (instead of the cold, wet stuff!).
For my card today I decided to try using one of the new digital images available in the Three Room Studio shop - Skidogs! I've been itching to use this image because those dogs look just like two of my friends dogs - Simon and Henry!
To color my scene, I used the following Copic Marker colors:
- Sky - BG49, BG13, BG11, R22, R20, R02 (I was trying to keep a "streaky" sunrise/sunset vibe so I didn't get too fussy about the blending)
- Trees - YG17, YG03, YG00
- Snowmobile/jacket - B99, B97, B95, B93, T6, T4, T2, T0, W1, W00
I also added a bit of BG11 along the bottom of the snowmobile.
