Saturday Challenge #11 - Circles

Hello friends! Samantha here and welcome to this weeks Studio Saturday challenge! The theme for this week is - circles! There are so many ways to interpret that perfect shape - can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!

I wanted to create a background of overlapping circles for one of my favorite Three Room Studio images from the Yay! set - especially now that the set has matching dies!

 

I started by blending the circles using various sized circle stencils.  If you don't have stencils, it would be easy to use nesting circle die cuts to make your own. 

 

I didn't want the image to compete with the background so I just added some light gray shading rather than adding color.

 

I finished the card with the die cut version of Yay! and added a few coordinating stamped sentiments.

As well as the challenge colours, you can usually use neutrals - white, black, grey, cream and small amounts of brown, but no other colours at all. The host for the challenge may sometimes give different requirements, so please check each post.

8.  Sketch challenges - you can flip or spin the sketch, and change the proportions and shapes, as long as we can still see the basic sketch in your card. Again, the host may sometimes give different requirements, so please check each post.
