I love this stamp set because it is so versatile and shows that not all winter stamp sets are just for Christmas.
I couldn't resist using the awesome polar bear and did some masking to create a slop.
I used the following Distess inks to create the sky -
Blueprint Sketch
Stormy Sky
Wilted Violet
Mustard Seed
Worn Lipstick
Cracked Pistachio
There was a lot of layers and blending here....my arm got a good work out !
Once the ink was dry I used Alcohol Markers to color the bear and add some shading to the snowy hill.
I then stamped the sentiment, which again is perfect for holiday cards, a just because card or even a birthday card. I die cut the panel and then added some paper and adhered all this to the card.
I then decided something was missing so I went to town with my white gel pen adding stars and finished off by adding some sparkle to the snow.
I have to admit this card really made me smile when creating it, Welcome Winter is just one of those stamp sets.
