Happy Friday!! Sandy here; it's my turn today, and we're showcasing one of the new stencils, "Sparkly Stars". Instead of a card, I've created a monthly layout for November in my bullet journal.
For my layout, I started by pencilling in the rough sketch, and then stamping the skater image from "Skate Sleep Repeat".
Once I had the image stamped, I masked off the calendar part that I wanted to stay white, and placed a piece of paper behind each page to protect the other pages. Then I ink blended the sky, using Faded Jeans and Black Soot Distress Oxides and a blending brush.
I left the ink blended pages to dry well (I left mine overnight, but only because we had other plans for the evening) before stencilling the starry sky. This is the hot mess stage!

Next I removed the masking, coloured up the skater and a bit of background, using pencil crayons (coloured pencils to American friends). I added the "November" sticker from the "Handlettered Months" sticker set, added a few details using a white Gelly Roll pen, and the layout was complete!

Thanks so much for stopping by today and checking out my planner layout, using this fun stencil and an older stamp set. I hope you have a wonderful day, and a relaxing weekend!
Happy creating!
