Feature Friday - "I Heart Books" & "One More Chapter"

To start off, I stamped out my main image from the I Heart Books set. To play off of last week's Saturday Challenge, I wanted to do simple, monochromatic for the main image with some warm grays. This is really quick coloring adding some dark colors for shading and blending it out. 

 

 

For my background, I wanted to take advantage of all the sentiments and small images in the One More Chapter stamp set and arranged it on a piece of navy blue cardstock. I also added some of the smaller images from the I Heart Books stamp set to fill up any empty space. I stamped all of it using watermark ink and added white satin pearl embossing powder to create a very subtle background. 

 

To finish off the card, I stamped one sentiment on white cardstock and used the same copic markers for coloring the main image to add a matching color to the sentiment. I loved how this card came out and it really shows off both these stamp sets.
