Happy December everyone! It's time for another Card Parade project for Three Room Studio.
I absolutely adore the "Let's Hygge!" stamp set and I am excited to share my project with you for today! I have really fallen in love with creating scene cards over the last couple of years. This stamp set is perfect for making scene cards!
I had some pretty patterned paper left from previous Christmas crafting. I selected a piece with a nice striped pattern and a piece with a wood plank floor look.
I was inspired to use patterned paper to create a chair that looked upholstered after seeing some of the beautiful scenes created by the design team over the last year! Check out the Three Room Studio Instagram channel for some AMAZING inspiration!!
For my card, I stamped the chair twice. I stamped once on patterned paper, which I fussy cut out only the chair and stool portions. I also stamped once on white card stock and fussy cut out the entire image. I glued the patterned paper to the white cardstock image after coloring in the woman on the cardstock.
I built my scene with the floor patterned paper and some watercolor cardstock, from which I cut out a floor trim piece and a frame to serve as my windowsill.
I used the "Sparkly Star" stencil with some Deco Foil Transfer Gel Blanco and my laminator to create the sparkly night sky so my window would have a cozy view!
